Finjan Qahwa started the way a lot of good things do — as a small, family-owned coffee shop with one goal: bring the tradition of Arabic qahwa to the neighborhoods that raised us.
We opened our doors as a local coffee house serving Bernal Heights and the Mission District in San Francisco, and from day one, this has been a family business in the truest sense — run with the same care, recipes, and hospitality you'd find in a family home.
In Arabic culture, qahwa isn't just coffee — it's a gesture. It's what you offer the moment someone walks through the door. That's the spirit we've tried to bottle at Finjan Qahwa: cardamom-scented Arabic coffee, Turkish coffee, warm kunafa, and a full menu of lattes and pastries, served the way we'd serve them to family, to everyone who walks in from Mission Street.
